Get a sneak peek at the project:
For many years, NÜRNBERGER relied on the IBM - IWS (formerly TWS) product for workload automation (job scheduling). More than 10,000 job definitions for z/OS mainframe and Windows based systems were managed and controlled in over 6,400 workflows. The company undertook a comprehensive market analysis in order to meet new requirements such as the integration of new technologies, the platform strategy and also to increase the attractiveness of the workplace. The aim was to select a futureproof product that would meet the constantly increasing demands and support market developments. After extensive testing, an intensive selection process and a technical proof of concept, NÜRNBERGER's team of experts chose Scheduler AUTOMIC and Capture as its partner.
The migration weekend went smoothly the change of scheduler went unnoticed within the company. We received a lot of praise from everyone involved, especially in the initial phase. Working with AUTOMIC quickly became routine. To date, we have not had any major disruptions in our operations with AUTOMIC.
